...If your iPhone is already connected to the PC, you can also try this method:
- Open "My Computer"
- Find my iPhone, it will appear as another camera will
- Open your iPhone to find your photos
- Select the picture you want to copy to your computer and copy/paste it to the desired location on your PC
The Windows approach treats the iPhone more like a file system, such as is the case with a standard digital camera connected to the PC. That generally make Windows easier for moving pictures back and forth if you want to cut the pasta thing & directly from one folder to another in my pictures or My Documents. However, you can also use the photos application to import your Favorites to pull images from the device as well.
Remember, if the picture of the iPhone does not appear in Windows, make sure your iPhone is unlocked first. If not, the iPhone will be found in ' My Computer ' but all the content in it will be visible and cannot be accessed. If you experience that, all you need to do is touch the iPhone, unlock the screen and enter your access code, and all your stuff will be visible as expected.
Finally, you can also align your images using only iTunes on either Mac OS or Windows but that's more for backup purposes and the iPhone don't really function as a means to access individual images.
